Ana Gonzales bio
Ana Gonzalez de Jorgenson, a musician's daughter from Mexico was born into a family that was devoted to music. When she was a kid, she listened to classical music as well as the old boleros. Also, she listened to the traditional romance ballads as well as ranchero. Ana is a fan of tangos as well as opera, and various other dramatic forms. Ana started to learn how to sing as well as play musical instruments at an early age alongside her mother. She received more formal vocal training at the age of 16 old under the famous Mexican Tenor Flavio BECARRA. It was at the School of Music of Guadalajara University and the School of Sacred Music of Toluca in Mexico kept her in the music field. She performed at Guadalajara, Mexico City and different cities when she was a young musician and student. In the years following her relocation into The United States in 2000, she joined the Fort Lauderdale Symphony Chorus before moving to her present location in the southern part of California. She performs solo Latin American music for private functions and as a member Ensemble XXI in Redlands. She's involved in numerous local projects, both as a teacher and performer, because of her love for music and art. Ana was also a part of the Community Chorus of Redlands and Inland Master Chorale. She is currently teaching at the Performance Loft. Ana is grateful to communicate with other people her love of traditional Latin American music. She is hoping that it will encourage younger generations to keep the traditions going.
